Born in Handsworth, Birmingham in 1943 Peter attended Birmingham College of Art to study exhibition design.

In 1966 he took over management of Warwick Fine Arts, a long established art dealership and picture framers.

In 1985 high demand for his paintings enabled him to give up his business commitments to paint full time.

During the 1990s Peter and his family moved to France to live and work. In 1996 they acquired a large barn and gradually converted it into the fine house and large studio gallery it is today.

After 30 years of exhibiting works mainly in the UK Peter decided to confine himself to showing his work here in the Dordogne.

He has held summer exhibitions here since 2011 biennially and plans to continue this.

In-between the summer shows the studio is open all year round by appointment, for the sale of posters, drawings and paintings.

A selection of the current paintings for sale can be seen on the 'Recent Paintings' page.
